I've been asked frequently about showing more reception footage. So I put together this short, fun video with a historically great reception song.
Receptions really are where all the fun happens. I contract my work to include the whole evening since you never know when humorous and memorable moments will take place. It always strikes me as odd why some videographers have separate packages for reception time. Packages saying they will stay until the first dance, only until 8 pm, or my favorite once the photographer leaves. You aren't contracted with the photographer so why leave when they do. I just believe that you need to be their the whole night unless instructed not too.
That's how I view it and I'm glad we stay the entire evening to capture all your moments.
I am really glad we had a Wedding Giveaway. Makes me feel great to be able to enhance someones day with a free video session. We received more than 30 submissions which was more than I ever thought we'd get.
I'm proud to announce the lucky winners were Heather and Daniel. They are getting hitched this January which will make for an interesting winter atmosphere.
As for the others that have submitted a form. Remember I am offering 10% off any wedding package of your choice.
Thank you again to everyone who entered into the competition. We will definitely be having a contest next year as well.
I was pondering what to do for my parents 33rd wedding anniversary and decided on this. A video that they could cherish for the rest of their lives. A video showing their love for one another and the inseparable bond they have. These make great videos for an anniversary or for showing at your wedding reception. I highly recommend getting one of these for your wedding or for a video memoir.
I finally was able to finish a promotional video for the 2010 wedding session. After working several months on ideas and plans. Here is the official 2010 Capture the Moments Productions company video.
I shot a wedding over the weekend in Minneapolis at the Marriot Hotel. Hope you like this trailer. The setting for the video was amazing and really added another dimension to the overall shoot.
I shot a wedding out in Inver Grove Heights over the weekend and put together this very nice trailer. It took place in Inver Grove Heights. I was only contracted to shoot the ceremony so here is the video. Enjoy.
I put together a new video that includes plenty of my most recent works. It includes all of the types of special events and weddings I've done recently. Enjoy the video.
As for me, I am planning for the next two weddings I am shooting in the following weeks. One is this Saturday and another is October 9th. Stay tuned for the trailers of those weddings.
As you all know I am having a wedding giveaway for 2010. One lucky couple will receive a free videography session for their wedding. But besides that I am offering another special...

This past weekend I got back from a great camping trip up north with some of my best friends. We do this every year as sort of a coming of age time capsule. As insisted by the title this was the 8th year we have went camping as a group somewhere.
We also video tape the entire time and put together a DVD that we can have with us the rest of our lives. This year the weather up north wasn't the best but we still managed to have an incredible time. We did everything from wake boarding to kayaking. Here are a few photos that we took while camping...
Shot a wedding reception over the weekend and it went great! The couple was married down in Mexico and I was charged with the task of taping the reception at McArthurs Restaurant in Cannon Falls, MN. The venue was fantastic. It was a two room banquet facility that could handle roughly 400 guests. I would say it was about 3/4 of the way full so it was, by any means, a fairly large wedding.
Here is a quick trailer from the reception. Enjoy!
